TOPS Softwarecreates Condo & HOA management software that simplifies community association management by integrating accounting, management and automation.
The year was 1979, and Jeff Hardy was just another property management company owner, looking for a way to grow his business. His biggest problem was that all of the accounting and management for each of the communities in his portfolio needed to be done by hand using spreadsheets and documents. Jeff envisioned a better way, and TOPS was born.
In the beginning, TOPS was used in-house to automate processes and help Jeff grow his portfolio to 90 communities and nearly 15,000 homes in less than 5 years. He quickly realized that the Condo & HOA management industry needed these same automation tools and shifted gears to making TOPS a marketable solution. By 1985, TOPS Software was incorporated.
