SequelMed EHR is a fully-integrated electronic medical records, billing, and scheduling system from Sequel Systems. The system supports a wide range of specialties, including Ob/Gyn, gastroenterology, podiatry, urology, and more. By centralizing all practice data in one system, healthcare providers and support staff are able to collaborate on all aspects of patient activity, including administrative, financial, and clinical.
SequelMed EHR can be sold as a complete electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) suite, or its EMR and PM modules can be sold as standalone applications to practices who do not wish to replace existing systems. SequelMed EHR offers HL7 and DICOM interfaces to improve interoperability with imaging systems and medical devices. The system is versatile in its deployment, and can be installed on a server in the practice’s location or hosted by the vendor and accessed remotely over the web. Sequel Systems offers different payment options for both methods of deployment.
While SequelMed EHR can scale up or down to meet the needs of practices of varying sizes, we typically recommend it to practices with two to five physicians. SequelMed EHR has been ONC-ATCB certified for 2011/2012 by the Drummond Group and will enable customers to qualify for stimulus payments under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
