MDConnection is a web-based software solution for medical practice management. The system serves the needs of small practices consisting of just one physician or a small group of physicians. Among the system’s functions are scheduling, medical billing, code scrubbing, patient management, reporting, and many other functions Unlimited users and locations can be managed by MDConnection, and the system can be accessed on a PC or Mac.
Automatic system updates are included in the arrangement, so the software version is equipped to avoid falling behind and becoming obsolete. MDConnection is customizable, supporting many different user options for tailoring the software to specific user preferences. As a scalable solution, it can grow along with the medical practice using it. MDConnection is also integrated with PatientConnection for online patient registration, insurance verification, and other helpful processes for patients.
MDConnection also produces specific, detailed reports that keep medical practices’ finances in order. These sensitive financial data, along with patient and other data types, are kept secure thanks for frequent off-site backups that ensure data integrity and protection. MDConnection is available in three different series: Scheduler, Elite, and Billing.
MDConnection offers a variety of customer support and training services. Training videos and documentation is available, as well as support by telephone, web conference, or email. MDConnection’s staff works with the medical practice’s IT staff during the data transfer process to ensure accuracy and security. Data standards used by the system include XML, HTTPS, Health Level 7 (HL-7), and ASC X12
