Apparel Information Management System® (AIMS®) currently serves 2500 customers and was developed by a team with more than 25 years of experience in the fashion industry. The software is designed for make-to-order apparel manufacturers of a diverse range of products - from apparel and footwear to home furnishings. In addition to serving the apparel manufacturing industry, the software supports apparel wholesalers, importers, and distributors. AIMS targets small to midsized apparel manufacturers that make up to $100 million in revenue and need between 2-100 users to have access to the system.
AIMS is an integrated manufacturing program that contains applications for material requirements planning (MRP), manufacturing execution (MES), accounting, inventory management and shipping, order processing, and customer management among others. The AIMS manufacturing solution comes with built-in functionality for cut tickets, work in progress (WIP) reports, pick tickets, and credit card processing. Manufacturers using QuickBooks can take advantage of integration capabilities, which allows key financial information to be pulled into QuickBooks for easy financial management.
We like AIMS for the mobile capabilities they provide apparel manufacturers. AIMS RemoteLink™ is a stand alone option that provides sales teams with remote order entry from the field. All sales reps have to do is scan an item bar code and the order is automatically entered into the AIMS system - without an Internet connection. For sales teams and wholesale customers that need remote access to the front-end system, AIMS WebLinkTM provides 24/7 access to business critical features such as orders and invoices, online order placement, and B2B email marketing from any Internet-enabled device.
The system is available either as an on-premise or web-based solution. In the event that buyers choose the web-based version of the software, AIMS will host your data for you. Additionally, AIMS offers in-house support and training available either online or at their LA headquarters.
