Description

An Aerospace and Defense contractor has unique requirements which are not met by traditional manufacturing software solutions. Contract budgets and schedules must be maintained, and actual costs for labor, materials, and subcontracts must be collected against these budgets and schedules. Aerospace and Defense contractors must purchase materials and subcontracts directly to the contract, maintain inventories by contract, maintain quality management systems that meet AS9100 and ISO 9000. Some contracts require extensive manufacturing effort, and some are primarily subcontracted. Aerospace and Defense software systems need to handle all these requirements and meet Government Contractor DCAA compliance requirements.
