Description

Procore has appeared on Constructech's list of "Hottest Companies" and has been featured in ENR. Since their founding in 2003, Procore has made significant gains in the construction management software market. The software currently supports over 250 companies and boasts a userbase of more than 30,000. Procore operates under the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model, which means that construction firms don't have to maintain the software themselves and can buy in to the software on a subscription basis. Pricing is provided using an unlimited annual usage license which includes implementation, training and support. This SaaS deployment model also allows contractors to manage their project information and documents from any standard web-browser, on devices ranging from computers to smartphones to iPads. Procore offers a strong project management application that contains deep functionality with key features such as document management, RFI creation and tracking, submittal management, contract management, scheduling and email management, among other modules. This software can be purchased by itself as a best-of-breed application. Firms that need functionality can integrate the system with scheduling files from Microsoft Project, Primavera SureTrak, and other industry standard scheduling tools. Procore gets customers up to speed with their software by including training and support in the software package. This training is administered over the phone but support is also offered via the web. Access to a user community forum and a comprehensive online knowledge base is also provided as part of the annual license fee. Fans of mobile software integration will be happy to know that Procore includes smart phone applications for both the Android and the iPhone. The applications are free to Procore users and can be downloaded from their respective app stores.
