iKnowMed Generation 2 is a powerful web based electronic health records system built specifically for the needs of oncologists and hematologists. iKnowMed Generation 2 was developed by McKesson Specialty Health in collaboration with more than 200 oncologists who used their daily experiences to create a system that improves the overall quality of cancer care delivery.
In addition to straightforward EHR functionality for tracking patient demographics, patient histories, e-prescribing, charge capture, and notes, iKnowMed Generation 2 supports all of the oncology-specific requirements that their customers would need. These features allow physicians to diagnose and stage cancer patients using AJCC and FIGO staging criteria and select patient’s treatment regimens from both NCCN Guidelines® and Value Pathways powered by NCCN®.
iKnowMed Generation 2 is a web-based electronic medical records system that can be accessed via the Internet and is optimized for mobile access. The standalone EHR integrates with Lynx Mobile inventory management, My Care Plus patient portal, and can interface with a number of practice management, laboratory, radiology, pathology, dictation, and notes systems, providing customers the oncology-specific features they require without requiring them to replace their existing systems. iKnowMed Generation 2 is very scalable and suitable to practices of all sizes, ranging from solo private practices to large cancer care facilities with hundreds of doctors.
