Description
IBM COBOL for AIX lets you integrate COBOL applications with web services, XML and Java. It includes a compiler, runtime libraries and utilities, and a debugger that lets you visually debug programs from your workstation. COBOL for AIX uses compilation and optimization technology common across IBM compilers, including support for the latest IBM POWER7® hardware. COBOL for AIX does not require licenses for its runtime environment; applications that are created with COBOL for AIX can be run without additional license fees.
