This IMS database management solution can also improve efficiency by performing compression simulation for analysis purposes before actually compressing an IMS database—a process that can achieve compression yields as high as 70 to 80 percent.
Designed to circumvent standard database storage limitations, CA Compress Data Compression for IMS helps free valuable space while giving you full control over which segments of a database to compress and how much compression to implement on a segment.
