Salesfusion  was developed in 2006 to solve the divide between sales and marketing. Traditional marketing automation platforms were designed to consolidate marketing tasks, but they do very little to optimize the entire sales funnel.


This is because they were created around a linear sales and marketing model: marketing warms leads and pushes them to sales. However, sales struggles to effectively push them back to marketing if they aren’t ready to buy. This creates a disconnect in the sales and marketing funnel as well as wasted lead opportunities.

Marketers are able to push leads to sales based on their perceived interest or engagement. Sales can push them back to marketing for further nurture if the lead isn’t ready to buy yet.
