In 1994, founder of ChartLogic Brad Melis and a small team of health IT professionals crowded into the basement of a podiatry clinic to create a solution for a growing need in doctor’s offices across the country: electronic charting software. As the product was refined, Melis sold it to various local clinics that used it to replace their transcription and paper charts.
