Founded in 1996 by former MicroHelp developers. MicroHelp was the first to provide custom controls to Visual Basic 1.0 users with VBTools 1. BeCubed has continued that legacy with the OLETools 5 and HiColor Tools for 32-bit ActiveX developers, and again with .NETools for Visual Studio.NET.
In 2002, BeCubed Software acquired the rights to the EllTech product line (Compression+, Encrypt-It+, and Fax+)
