Jakoba Software was formed with the sole purpose of creating performance management system solutions that are user friendly, easy to adapt, and at the same time provide measurable results for organizations looking to take their company to the next level.
Our performance management systems are designed to engage employees with the company’s strategic objectives, as well as track employee skills on a yearly and project-to-project basis, and ultimately unlock the potential of the workforce to achieve better business results.
We understand that the employee performance management process can be difficult for many companies. While employees and managers begrudgingly engage in this process, we believe that with the right tools and systems in place this process can significantly influence positive business results. We also believe that when employees and managers are properly educated on how the employee performance management process directly relates to the business, and how they as individuals can engage in this process in a familiar and intuitive way, they will be become strong advocates of the process.
The name of our company is significant and relates to the transition made from what the point of view is “today,” and what is possible tomorrow. This idea is what gave rise to the name “Jakoba”. Jakoba is the name of a microbe. It is also the name of a minor planet (an asteroid called ‘1893 Jakoba’ to be specific).
We chose “Jakoba” as our company name because we believe in the vast potential to transform the employee performance management process from something small into a strong component of business success.
